The Vertical form fill sealing machine (VFFS) is a type of automated assembly-line product packaging system, commonly used in the packaging industry for food, and a wide variety of other products. The machine constructs plastic bags out of a flat roll of plastic film, while simultaneously filling the bags with product and sealing the filled bags. Both solids and liquids can be bagged using this packaging system.
The typical machine is loaded with a continuous flat roll of plastic film, which has had labeling and artwork applied to the exterior or interior of the film. Note that while plastic is the most commonly used packaging material in the food industry, the technology can also be used to form continuous matalized foil/film, paper, and fabric product containers by changing the edge sealing/seaming methods. For some products the film may first be fed through a sterilizing chemical bath and dryer prior to use in the packaging system.

Operation on the powder filling packing machines with auger measuring system:

(1) Connect the electricity supply, the clear compressed air according to the machine's requirement, put the case shell on the floor well, adjust the work pressure to 0.6Mpa, fuel charging to the air cylinder and other parts. (advise using pure white oil).
(2) Put the packing materials on the film reel and fix the capsule (printing side facing outer or compound side facing inner). Put the packing materials according to the pictures.
(3) Put on the power switch, the machine is in waiting condition when the indicator light is on.
(4) Attempting to set temperature according to the temperature which the upper temperature controller and the lower temperature controller show when the packing material pass the board.

The instruction of auger measuring system from Powder filling system :

It consists of hopper/stirring system and measuring power screw worked by filling motor . The measurement is decided by the numbers of screw rotation , which can set on the screen of the machine .

1. Adjusting the filling time

It is controlled by the wheel installed in the main axis , that is the signal will be delivered by the trigger head when sealing .

2. Adjusting the filling volume

Entering the setting state on the screen , adjusting the filling volume by change the parameters , and try fill working when have set the parameters , then check out the results between tried and demand parameters , and then alter the parameters to match it .

And the filling volume has close relation with the filling screw , for the common , factory will design the filling screw on the clients’ packing demands about the packing raw materials and packing volume . The bigger of the filling screw , the more of the filling volume . And the filling screw has the following types :

0#for：50ml～100ml                  1# for:30ml～50ml

2#for: 10ml～30ml                  3# for:5ml～20ml

4#for: 5ml～10ml                   5# for:1ml～5ml
