Instructions on Semi-automatic folding bubble remove machine

1. Machine mold installation.

A set of molds includes three parts, Part A, Part B, Part C. It is suggested to stick a piece of cardboard of the same size on Part C to avoid screw impression.

The air switch could control the expansion and contraction of the center square rod. When the air source is on, the center square rod will retract automatically, and when it’s off, the center square rod will lose traction. It is possible to decide whether to open or close the air source switch based on actual conditions, so as to facilitate the installation of the mold Part B. When installing the molds Part A, Part B, Part C, make sure they are in a stable and center symmetry state.


2. Adjust top base on the center and four side extrusion board.

Use the control panel on the right side of the machine to adjust the rise and fall of the top base on the center and its speed.

Turn on air switch, go to “Cylinder setting” and click “Positioning OFF” and switch to “Positioning ON”. Then loosen the screws circled in the figure and adjust the pressing plate position on four sides to fit the box length, width and height, and then tighten the screws to fix the position.

3. Adjust machine operating parameters.
Core Principle: The machine center spindle is driven by the servo motor. Once done with position parameters setting, it pauses at five positions, and each cylinder cooperates to perform the process of carton folding and pressing.

“Current position”: The instantaneous position parameter value of the center spindle at any position. It changes with the rise and fall of the central spindle.

“Current position” refers to position parameter values of “Home position”, “Position to fold”, “Folding depth”, “Return position”, “Bubble-remove posi.”.
When you click “Axis up” and “Axis down” to adjust the center spindle to rise or fall to an appropriate position, press “Save” for 3 seconds, then current position parameter value could be saved.
“Home position”, “Position to fold”, “Folding depth”, “Return position”, “Bubble-remove posi.” Once the corresponding position parameter value is set, tap on “Back” and press the pedal switch, it will start working.

4. Definition and Parameter setting
“Home position”: The spindle is at standby mode, waiting for case loading. Set the position parameter value to ensure that the case can be loaded successfully put into the machine.

Click on “Axis up” and “Axis down” to adjust the center spindle up and down to the position (as shown). The mold is about 10 cm above the edge of the box, ensuring that the case is successfully loaded into the machine.

Press and hold "Save" for 3 seconds to automatically save current value of position parameter.
“Position to fold”: Click “Axis up” and “Axis down” to adjust the center spindle the position (as shown). The mold is placed in a position where the paper is pressed on the top of a case. Keep the paper in place, waiting for the mold to go down into the case and fold the packing paper.

Press and hold "Save" for 3 seconds to automatically save current value of position parameter.
“Folding depth”: Click “Axis up” and “Axis down” to adjust the center spindle the position (as shown). The mold just snaps completely into the position of the packing paper at the top of the box.

Press and hold "Save" for 3 seconds to automatically save current value of position parameter.
“Return position”: Click “Axis up” and “Axis down” to adjust the center spindle to the position (as shown). The mold is at approximately 1 cm above the position of the paper at the top of the box. Make room for the next fold.

Press and hold "Save" for 3 seconds to automatically save current value of position parameter.

“Bubble-remove posi.”: Click on “Axis up” and “Axis down” to adjust the center spindle up and down to this position (as shown). The mold just reached the bottom of the box. Please do not continue to make the center spindle down till now, otherwise the servo motor will crash due to strong interference.

Press and hold "Save" for 3 seconds to automatically save current value of position parameter.
5. Machine regulation completed.

Click "Back" and then press the pedal switch to start working.
Solution to servo motor crash due to improper operation caused by overload protection: If the center spindle cannot be raised or lowered when "Axis up" and "Axis down" are clicked, check if "Current position" displays a negative value (as shown).

If “Current position” displays a negative value, click “Back Home” to check if the center spindle can return to the starting position. If yes, the machine could return to the normal; if no, please switch off the power and wait for one minute, then switch on again and the machine back to normal.
6. power on and shutdown operation sequence. Power on: Turn on the machine's power switch first, then turn on the machine's air supply switch. Shutdown: Turn off the machine's power switch first, then turn off the machine's air supply switch. Note: Keep the air supply dry when using the machine.
